1st Crowder College Scout Troop Resumes Full Activities, Reorganises Six Patrols.

The Scout Association of Nigeria, 1st Crowder College Troop, officially resumed full scouting activities on Thursday, 9th July 2026, with the reorganisation of its patrol system to strengthen leadership, teamwork and discipline among members.
The troop now comprises six patrols—Lion, Tiger, Elephant, Eagle, Dove and Cat, each led by a Patrol Leader and Patrol Second, with officers serving as Secretary, Treasurer, Hike Leader, First Aider, Yell Leader and Quartermaster.
The event was attended by the Principal of Crowder Memorial College Mr Maliki Bajeh Adinoyi, the School's Game Master Mrs Anne Joseph, the State Training Commissioner, Abdulkadir Abdullateef Osori; the Divisional Commissioner, Mukhtar Idris, who is in charge of Lokoja, Kogi Local Government (Koton Karfe) and Ajaokuta Divisions; and Amina, Leader of the 5th Muslim Community Troop, who serves as his assistant.
Speaking at the event in the premises of Crowder Memorial College Lokoja, Kogi State, the Scout Leader of the 1st Crowder College Troop, Mamman Nda Eri, described the resumption as the beginning of a new phase of active scouting focused on character building, leadership development, teamwork and community service.
